Trying to Spread a Little Holiday Cheer
Recently I’ve been working with an amazing group called Michigan Cat Rescue.
They take in any and all cats in the area and save so many from shelters or those who have been out on the street. One of their most recent cats had lost an eye due to children “having fun” with the poor kitten. Thankfully the group found the kitten and were able to restore it back to full health and it was adopted soon after.
This group goes through so much to make sure all their cats and kittens receive the best care that they can.
The people who work with the group are all volunteers. They get paid nothing to help the animals. They take time out of their days to make sure these cats and kittens can find a forever home. There is no one building for this group. All the volunteers use their own homes to house their cats and kittens.
These people are so amazing and so nice.
However, because of the above facts, money is running low. The head of this group is so low on money she might not have enough left to treat her family to Christmas. I can’t tell you how much it hurts every time I see her at an adoption event and she tells me how many people are returning their cats and how much the vet bills and supplies for the cats cost.
The group is slowly reaching the point of too many cats and too few volunteers. Too many cats means much more money.
So I’m asking anyone who can… could you spare even a small donation for this amazing group? So many cats and kittens would be dead if it weren’t for them. I am doing my share and I wish I could do so much more… but I can’t.
So I am putting a donation button on my blog for anyone who wishes to donate to this rescue group.
You don’t have to though! But I ask that you please share this to people you know to try and spread some holiday cheer for this group~
Thank you so much for any and all donations and for sharing if you can!
